- How to fix it
- The following is the case for an Ercol chair, where as much Wobbly Shut is soaked into as many of the joints as possible.
-
-
1. Thoroughly soak the exposed joint on the back side with Wobbly Shut.
-
2. Move the spokes at the top of the back slightly to create a gap and allow the Wobble Shut to soak in.
-
3. Similarly, squeeze and move the lower back part to allow the wobbly shut to seep into the gaps.
- 4. It depends on the environment, but it will dry and stop expanding in 24 hours (at room temperature of 20 degrees). When there is no wobbling, the repair is complete.
