Izuya Co., Ltd. (the "Company") establishes this privacy policy (this "Policy") regarding the handling of privacy information in the services provided on this website (the "Service") as follows.

Article 1 (Privacy Information)
"Personal information" among privacy information means "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information: information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact details, or other descriptions contained in such information. "History and characteristic information" among privacy information means information other than "personal information" defined above, such as services used, products purchased, pages and advertisements viewed, search keywords entered, date and time of use, method of use, usage environment, postal code, gender, occupation, age, IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identifiers.
Article 2 (Method of Collecting Privacy Information)
The Company may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when a user registers. The Company may also collect transaction records containing users' personal information and payment-related information from the Company's partners (including information sources, advertisers, and ad distributors; "Partners"). The Company collects history and characteristic information such as services and software used, products purchased, pages and advertisements viewed, search keywords, date and time of use, method of use, usage environment (including the communication status of a mobile device and various settings when used via mobile), IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identifiers when users use the Company's or Partners' services or view pages.
Article 3 (Purposes of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
The Company collects and uses personal information for the following purposes.
  1. To display registered information such as name, address, contact details, and payment method, as well as information on services used, products purchased, and their prices, so that users can view and edit their registered information and usage status
  2. To use email addresses to send notices and communications, and to use contact information such as name and address to ship products and contact users as necessary
  3. To use information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, bank account number, credit card number, driver's license number, and delivery-certified mail results for identity verification
  4. To use payment-related information such as product names and quantities purchased, types, periods, and counts of services used, billed amounts, name, address, bank account number, and credit card number in order to bill users
  5. To display information registered with the Company on input screens and to transfer it to other services (including those provided by Partners) at the user's direction, so that users can enter data easily
  6. To use information identifying individuals, such as usage patterns, name, and address, in order to refuse use by users who violate the terms of service, such as by delaying payment or causing damage to third parties, or who attempt to use the Service for fraudulent or improper purposes
  7. To use information necessary for providing the Service to users, such as inquiry details and billing information, as well as users' service usage status and contact information, in order to respond to inquiries
  8. Purposes incidental to the above
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the user's prior consent, except in the following cases or as otherwise permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws.
  1. When required by law
  2. When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent
  3. When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the person's consent
  4. When cooperation is required for a national agency, local government, or their contractor to carry out duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the person's consent may hinder those duties
  5. When the following matters have been announced or published in advance:
    that the purposes of use include provision to third parties
    the data items provided to third parties
    the means or method of provision to third parties
    that provision to third parties will be stopped at the person's request
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases do not constitute provision to third parties.
  1. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
  2. When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to merger or other reasons
  3. When personal information is used jointly with specific parties, and the person has been notified in advance, or placed in a position to easily know, of that fact, the items of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purposes of use, and the name of the person or entity responsible for managing the personal information
Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When a person requests disclosure of their personal information, the Company will disclose it without delay. However, the Company may withhold all or part of the disclosure if disclosure falls under any of the following, and will notify the person without delay if it decides not to disclose. A fee of 1,000 yen per request applies to disclosure of personal information.
  1. When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person or a third party
  2. When disclosure may significantly hinder the proper conduct of the Company's business
  3. When disclosure would violate other laws
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as history and characteristic information, will not be disclosed as a rule.
Article 6 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a user's personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request correction or deletion through the procedure prescribed by the Company. If the Company receives such a request and determines it necessary to respond, it will correct or delete the personal information without delay and notify the user.
Article 7 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information)
If a person requests suspension or erasure of use of their personal information ("Suspension of Use") on the grounds that it is handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use or was obtained by fraudulent means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, carry out Suspension of Use based on the results, and notify the person. However, where Suspension of Use requires significant cost or is otherwise difficult, and alternative measures can be taken to protect the person's rights and interests, the Company will take such alternative measures.
Article 8 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
The contents of this Policy may be changed without notice to users. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised privacy policy takes effect when posted on this website.
