Collection: Brazilian Rosewood

Rosewood is a strong, heavy wood that shines beautifully when polished. It is used as a material for high-end furniture. It is used for joinery, karakizaiku, inlay, veneer, knife handles, etc., and is named rosewood because it has a rose-like fragrance. Brazilian rosewood, which is particularly famous as a high-end wood, can only be found in Brazil, and the area is limited to that country. As most of its habitat has been converted into farmland and it is in danger of extinction, it is a rare wood that is currently prohibited from trading under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
