GK Industrial Design's Yuichi Akutsu has designed evolving furniture that takes the environment and health into consideration. Based on the concepts of "a mechanism that can flexibly accommodate physical growth from infancy to adulthood," "flexibility to accommodate changes in usage that accompany mental growth," and "finishing that makes use of natural materials to realize the richness of long-term use," the furniture is manufactured in Denmark, Northern Europe, based on planning and design done in Japan, and is supported by outstanding craftsmanship to produce high-quality furniture.
