Collection: Gianfranco Frattini
He was one of the first members of the Italian design movement in the 1950s. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1953, and later became an industrial designer to study lighting and furniture. He collaborated with various manufacturers and in 1956 co-founded the Associazione Disegno industriale, a group focused on industrial design, interior design and architecture. He worked with Gio Ponti at Cassina and Acerbis, and created a series of historic wooden furniture collections. He also designed for Ferrari, and his work is exhibited at the National Design Museum.
