Collection: B&B ITALIA

A world-leading brand of contemporary modern furniture that has established itself as a leading company in the furniture design world. In the early 1960s, Piero Ambrogio Busnelli, who was working as a furniture craftsman, created an innovative manufacturing technique called the "molded polyurethane method" using a new material, urethane. In 1966, he founded C&B Italia in collaboration with investor Cesare Cassina (founder of Cassina), and quickly became a hit maker. After that, in 1973, Busnelli bought more than half of the shares from Cassina, and the company became the current B&B ITALIA. They developed a number of advanced technologies and ideas, such as the "low-temperature foaming molded polyurethane method" that improved on the previous manufacturing method, and were the first to adopt steel frames before other companies. In addition, they have actively incorporated talented designers from around the world into the culture of Italian design and released many masterpieces by collaborating with them. B&B ITALIA has won the Compasso d'Oro award, the most prestigious award in Italy, four times, one of which was awarded not to a specific product but to B&B ITALIA. B&B ITALIA was the first company to receive this prestigious award. B&B ITALIA has a research and development center called CR&S, and more than 3% of its sales are invested in research and development every year. Research and experiments are carried out in all stages of the process, from design, manufacturing, sales, quality control, to materials and technology. It is a top Italian brand that leads the modern interior world, embodying advanced industrial technology with the hands of world-famous designers and making Made in Italy products famous worldwide.
