1. Rub the finish into the wood along the grain with a cloth (terry cloth). If the painted surface is not deteriorated and the wood is only dirty or faded, you can easily refresh it by simply applying a light coat with a brush. 2. If there is stubborn dirt such as ring stains or oxidation, soak a fine (0000) steel wool in the finish and rub it into the wood along the grain. 3. To maintain the effect longer, use a wax coating (HOWARD Feed'n Wax) after the finish.
