Collection: PP Mobler
PP Møbler is a family-run furniture workshop in Denmark. PP Møbler began in 1953 when furniture maker brothers Einar Pedersen and Lars Peder Pedersen (the brand name comes from their initials "P") set up a small workshop. They continue to produce high-quality designer furniture and are now counted among the most prestigious workshops representing Scandinavian furniture. PP Møbler became a prestigious workshop representing Scandinavia through their collaboration with master Hans J. Wegner. Many of Wegner's works were released by Johannes Hansen, but after Johannes Hansen went out of business in 1992, PP Møbler and Wegner met. Wegner was deeply impressed by PP Møbler's high level of technology, thorough understanding of materials, and uncompromising attitude, which led to the collaboration between PP Møbler and Wegner. His designs and the uncompromising production techniques of PP Møbler's craftsmen have come together to grow the company into a major manufacturer of Scandinavian designer furniture. PP Møbler's greatest feature is its understanding and deep love for wood. Out of the joy of working with wood and respect for it, the craftsmen use only the finest wood harvested from well-managed sustainable forests in Denmark and Germany, and strive to improve their skills every day. PP Møbler's furniture, created with the combined efforts of the genius designer Wegner, who loves wood, and the skills and heart of the craftsmen, and made with the intention of being able to stand the test of time for decades and even centuries, is a valuable piece that is light, durable, and becomes more beautiful the more it is used, making it a valuable piece that will last a lifetime. The soft lines, meticulous details, and the inherent charm of the materials are beautifully harmonized in one item, giving it a unique presence. Although the company is small in scale, it is a top Scandinavian manufacturer worthy of its status as a prestigious workshop.
