Strehla

A German porcelain manufacturer founded in 1828. It was named after the town Strehla in the German state of Saxony. After World War II, the region became East Germany, and production continued under communist rule. They developed practical and decorative pieces that were characterized by the use of glazes. They are harder to find than West German brands, and are still known as a manufacturer with many fans around the world.
