HJ Knee Ltd

In 1879, Henry John Knee took over the business from his former employer and opened Ironmongers & Manufacturers, which stocked a wide range of interior goods. The business was successful and the number of stores increased. Over the years, the company diversified its business, but by the end of the 1980s, it had narrowed down to retail, real estate, and engineering. Today, it continues to attract people by selling functional, high-quality furniture and home appliances.
