Collection: Cees Braakman (1917-1995)
Kees Braakman, a designer who represents Dutch modern design, went to the United States in 1947 to study products, and was influenced by Charles and Ray Eames at Herman Miller. After returning to Japan, he continued to research plywood. With his unique sense, he developed beautiful furniture making, leaving behind many masterpieces, such as chairs and cabinets made of plywood for UMS-Pastoe, where he served as chief designer.
