William Lawrence

A furniture manufacturer founded in Nottingham, England in 1899 by William Lawrence. It started out as a high-end furniture manufacturer producing traditional British furniture, and then shifted to modern design with the postwar Scandinavian furniture boom. Known for its extremely high level of quality, it is a leading furniture manufacturer that is considered to be on par with other leading British manufacturers of the time, such as G-PLAN and AHMcIntosh.
