ARABIA

Arabia was founded in 1873 as one of the brands of Rörstrand, a company located on the outskirts of Helsinki, Finland. The company later exhibited its products at the Paris World's Fair, where it won a gold medal. Arabia's decorative techniques began to receive worldwide acclaim. After gaining independence from Rörstrand in 1914, Arabia began to establish itself as one of Finland's leading ceramic manufacturers. Arabia's high level of design and functionality blossomed when it welcomed design master Kaj Franck. Since then, the company has produced many famous artists and designers, and it remains a ceramic brand beloved around the world.
