Collection: Card Table/Game Table

A table for playing card games, created during the William & Mary era and popular during the Queen Anne era. It is also called a game table. Designs and styles vary depending on the era, and there are many different types, such as rectangular or semicircular tabletops, ones with partitions for placing candlesticks or coins, and ones with retractable tabletops. Its moderate size means that when not in use as a card table, it can be used as a side table, console table, flower stand, etc.
