The largest and most successful British furniture manufacturer during the Victorian and Edwardian eras. In the early 19th century, Sally Maple established a small furniture store on Tottenham Court Road in London. Later, Sally's son, John Maple, led the small furniture store to success. The excellent design and high-quality furniture captivated the British aristocracy and was exported to many different countries. It is still highly regarded today as one of the world's largest furniture manufacturers, widely known in the interior design world.
