Collection: Arne Vodder

Born in Denmark in 1926. He majored in architecture and opened his own design office in 1952. He designed many pieces of furniture for Sibast Furniture, Fritz Hansen, and others. After he became famous, he gained popularity in the American market, and did a lot of design work for mega markets, such as corporate offices and banks across the country. He is also known for having had his chairs used by former US President Jimmy Carter and others. He designed furniture for Kippole Dinesen at the 1956 Copenhagen furniture exhibition.
