Collection: GORDON RUSSELL

A leading British designer and interior manufacturer, he has made a great deal of renown for his furniture, which combines traditional techniques with cutting-edge manufacturing methods. He entered the forefront of British Modernism in the 1930s, and was appointed industrial designer to the Royal Family in 1940. In 1947, he served as director of the Industrial Design Council. Although production ceased shortly after Russell's death, the Gordon Russell Design Museum opened on Broadway in the UK in 2008. His popularity has not waned, and he continues to be loved by many people today.
