1. Rub the Restore Finish into the wood with a cloth (terry cloth) along the grain. If the painted surface is not deteriorated and the wood is only dirty or faded, you can easily refresh it by simply applying it lightly with a brush. 2. If there is any stuck-on dirt such as ring stains or oxidation, soak fine steel wool (0000) in the Restore Finish and rub it into the wood along the grain. 3. Soak a cloth or sponge in Feed Wax and rub it into the wood. (Because it easily penetrates the wood, the color will become wet and slightly darker when applied. We recommend that you wipe it lightly before applying it directly.) 4. After rubbing, wait about 20 minutes and then lightly polish with a dry terry cloth towel to bring out the shine.
