Mappin Brothers

Jonathan Mappin (Joseph Mappin) established a silver workshop in Sheffield, England in 1775, and his four successors, Frederick, Edward, Charles and John, established this company. It is the forerunner of Mappin & Webb, a long-established silverware manufacturer that is a supplier to the British Royal Family.
