They started their business as clockmakers in London in 1640, and achieved success in the manufacture of longcase clocks. As their popularity began to wane, they changed their business and established a furniture manufacturer in Snow Hill in 1840. Their outstanding craftsmanship and beautiful designs have made them beloved throughout the ages.
