This bureau bookcase is made by Thomas Clarkson & Sons, a long-established British furniture manufacturer.

This high-quality bureau bookcase is made of oak wood with strong grain and features beautiful details throughout. It combines a writing bureau and a bookshelf for excellent storage capacity. It is also a great item to use as a showcase for displaying collections other than books.

- If you open the door with the shelf removed, the door may fall over due to its own weight.
- The upper tier is simply placed on top (the upper tier dowels are inserted)
- Due to aging, the dowels and holes may be chipped or distorted.
- To prevent the unit from falling over, it must be secured to the top and bottom shelves or to the wall (fixing brackets and screws are not included).

Thomas Clarkson & Sons

A long-established manufacturer that has been in business since the 17th century. They started their business as clockmakers in London in 1640, and achieved success in the manufacture of longcase clocks. As their popularity began to wane, they changed their business and established a furniture manufacturer in Snow Hill in 1840. Their outstanding craftsmanship and beautiful designs have made them beloved throughout the ages.
