Charlotte Perriand

French architect and designer. In 1927, he released "Bar in the Attic" and later joined Le Corbusier's atelier. Together with Le Corbusier, he produced many masterpieces, including the chaise longue. Perriand came to Japan on the recommendation of Junzo Sakakura and was deeply impressed by the traditional Japanese lifestyle and aesthetic sense, which was strongly reflected in his subsequent works.
