TOLIX

French designer Xavier Pauchard founded Tolix in 1925, incorporating zinc-based rust-proofing, which was popular in American industry at the time, into French furniture. At a time when wooden furniture was the norm, Tolix furniture was new and became widely used. Even today, its light weight, waterproof functionality, and simple, beautiful design are highly regarded, and it is often used in cafes around the world.
