Richard Young

Born in 1930, he studied at the RCA under Ron Carter. He was a designer at G-PLAN, the largest manufacturer of contemporary furniture in the UK from the 1950s to the late 1970s. He is known for designing many ranges for G-PLAN. His signature work is a set of three dining chairs and a matching table influenced by Hans Wegner.
