This is the G-PLAN Tola&white wide 4-drawer chest from E.Gomme, a company representative of British mid-century style.

The "Tola & White" series was released in the late 1950s. The contrast between the beautiful color of the Tola wood, the white paint, and the gold of the brass plating is eye-catching. Tola & Black, released at the same time, is often seen, but Tola & White is a rare and valuable series that is hard to find as it is hardly distributed in large quantities.

The design has details in common with the circular table designed as part of the Fresco series living collection. It is a long table called a long john table that goes well with a three-seater sofa. It is a highly practical table with a glass top in the center and a rack underneath that doubles as a display and storage space.
