デザイナー

Marcel Wanders

Born in the Netherlands in 1963. A product and interior designer and art director based in Amsterdam, he is active worldwide. He graduated from the 3D Design Department of the Arnhem School of Art in 1988, and participated in the establishment of the design studio WAACs design in 1992. He has presented his work to clients such as KLM and Apple, and received high praise. In 1995, he established his own studio, Wanders Wonders. The Knotted Chair, released by Cappellini in 1996, attracted worldwide attention, and in 2000 he became the art director of the Dutch furniture brand moooi. In addition to furniture brands such as Cappellini and Kartell, he has also successfully collaborated with world-class brands such as Swarovski and Baccarat, showcasing the power of Dutch design around the world.
