The Eames Soft Pad Group Management Chair is designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller.

The Soft Pad Chair was born as a derivative model of the Aluminum Chair designed in 1958. It is an executive-style work chair with added soft cushioning for increased comfort. All materials except the seat are the same as the Aluminum Chair, allowing for a variety of customizations depending on the purpose. Although the specifications have hardly changed since the 1950s, it is a masterpiece with a level of perfection that compares favorably with modern furniture in terms of both practicality and beauty.
