This is a vintage hoop back chair, standard size, with V-shaped legs, by ERCOL.

Among ERCOL's iconic Windsor chair series, the hoopback chair is the most orthodox style, and is based on a classical design called a "bowback". There are various versions, with three types of backs with four, five, and six spokes, two types of seats, normal and violin-shaped, and two sizes, normal and large. Furthermore, the six-spoke chair also comes with straight legs and arms, and the wide variety of types is a big attraction that tickles the hearts of collectors. The five-spoke type in particular is in low circulation and is a highly rare item.

A rare Windsor dressing chest that is also popular in the UK. A functional and convenient item that combines a dresser and a chest. The screws that support the mirror are wood screws, and you can see the high attention to detail. The first tier of the chest has a glass shelf that can be used as an extension of the top. A wonderful item with impeccable design and functionality.

Born in Italy in 1888, he became a British citizen in 1923 and founded Ercol. While manufacturing traditional British Windsor-style furniture, the founder of Ercol also broke with tradition and took on the challenge of creating new Windsor designs and timeless modern designs.
