This TV stand is by Nathan, one of the most representative British mid-century furniture brands.
This is a rare corner cabinet by Nathan. The warm texture of the vintage teak and the front door frame structure that is a little closer to classical furniture are impressive. The left and right doors have a unique design that can also be used to hide the AV equipment space in the center, and it is a sophisticated cabinet with an elaborate finish that is typical of the UK. The fact that it is less available than G-PLAN or McINTOSH also tickles the hearts of collectors.
The doors can be opened and closed from either the center or both ends. The bottom center section is a sliding shelf. It also has holes on the back, so it can be used as an AV board.
This item was designed by Nathan, a British company during the mid-century period, but after Parker Knoll acquired the company in 1981, it is now sold by Parker Knoll.
