- Hans Olsen (1919-1992)
Hans Olsen was a designer active around the 1960s. After working as a furniture craftsman at various cabinet makers, he studied under Kaare Klint, a master of Danish furniture design, at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He became independent as a designer in 1953 and produced many excellent works, focusing on furniture made of laminated wood with excellent shapes. His greatest success was the Dinette dining table. Hans Olsen's works are characterized by simple designs that combine style and functionality.
