The 24h Avec was launched in 2003 to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Arabia's founding. Blue was one of the original colors created in 2013.

The radial pattern is designed to fit the soft curves of the 24H series shape.

The shape is from Heikki Olbola's 24h series, and its functional design is based on the concept of being usable 24 hours a day, from morning to night. It can be used in a wide range of dishes, from Japanese, Western, Chinese, to ethnic cuisine.
