This wall mirror is from the New Fresco series, designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for G-PLAN, a brand that is emblematic of mid-century Britain.
The New Fresco dresser desk is one of the most popular items in the G-PLAN lineup. It was originally designed as a dresser with a movable mirror, but it has also become popular to remove the mirror and use it as a desk and wall mirror separately. The smooth and beautiful wood frame unique to the Fresco series makes it a very high-quality item even as a standalone mirror.
The Fresco series is said to be the best-selling series of G-PLAN, which took the world by storm in the UK about 50 years ago. Following the Danish series of 1960, the Fresco series was originally designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and was later taken over by Wilkins and Victor Bramwell. The design has a strong Nordic feel, using teak wood and other materials, and it is still the most popular series that symbolizes G-PLAN today.
