This is a vintage Fresco wall mirror designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins for G-PLAN, a brand that is emblematic of mid-century Britain.
Originally designed as a movable mirror for a dressing table, it has also become a staple to use separately as a wall mirror. A high-quality piece with beautiful details that are unique to the Fresco series.
The Fresco series is said to be the best-selling series of G-PLAN, which took the world by storm in the UK about 50 years ago. Following the Danish series of 1960, the original design was by Ib Kofod-Larsen, and was later taken over by Wilkins and Victor Bramwell. The design has a strong Nordic feel, using teak wood and other materials, and it is still the most popular series that symbolizes G-PLAN today.
