This is a vintage single-sided desk from the Albany series, designed by Leslie G. Dandy by G-PLAN, a brand that is iconic of British mid-century style.
This single-sided desk is made of beautiful teak wood. It is practical yet has the maker's attention to detail, making it a high-quality item that is unique to g-plan.
Albany was released in 1985. It only featured bedroom products such as wardrobes, night tables, and beds. The simple yet high-quality design using teak wood is impressive. Another feature is that the height is unified to create a sense of unity. It is a rare series that is rarely seen in the domestic vintage market.

デザイナー
- Leslie G. Dandy
A designer who was active at G-PLAN for a long time from around 1960. He supported G-PLAN with Eve Kofod Larsen and Victor Bramwell Wilkins, and worked on many series such as Limba, New Tola, and Arcadia. He also left behind experimental works, such as designing a series inspired by Chinese furniture. In addition, the hugely popular "Slatted-back Dining Chair" is still popular today and has many fans.
