This is a vintage 1950s-60s wall unit shelf by British manufacturer AVALON.
This is a rare item that is rarely seen in the Japanese vintage market. The contrast between the rugged iron frame and the teak shelves is striking on this open shelf. You can freely rearrange the shelves to suit your taste. This is a vintage piece of furniture designed in the mid-century that goes well with Scandinavian antiques.

A furniture manufacturer based in Yatton, Somerset, England. They produced furniture under two brand names: Avalon Yatton Furniture and Wake & Dean Yatton Furniture. Avalon has a very long history, tracing its roots back to the Industrial Revolution. It is said to have started with the establishment of a furniture factory that manufactured church chairs and school desks. Around 1960, like other British furniture manufacturers, they were influenced by the Scandinavian design that was popular at the time and produced a large amount of modern furniture using teak and other materials. Together with leading manufacturers such as G-PLAN, they are a furniture manufacturer that represents the era and shone brightly in the British mid-century period.
