This is a MULTI-WIDTH vintage cocktail cabinet designed by Robert Heritage by BEAVER & TAPLEY LTD, a British mid-century interior manufacturer.

A slim cabinet with a beautiful brown wood grain. It is not very familiar in Japan, but in England it was used as a cocktail cabinet to store cocktails, alcohol, glasses, etc. Glasses and other items can be stored inside the bureau, and cocktails can be made in the open top space. It is slim and does not take up much space, so it is recommended to use it as a storage bureau for books and displays, or as a writing bureau that is convenient for writing small notes.

BEAVER&TAPLEY

Founded in 1918 by Newman Richardson in London. A long-established British furniture brand. Originally a necktie manufacturing company, they started manufacturing tea trolleys by repurposing wood used for tie presses. When the tea trolleys became popular, they switched to being a furniture manufacturer. By the way, there are no people named Beaver or Tapley. After that, they manufactured low-priced bedroom furniture, but in 1956, influenced by Scandinavian furniture, they became more particular about quality and design, and commissioned designs from top Japanese designers such as Robert Heritage. They grew into a leading brand that produces high-quality furniture. Although the brand name is not very well known in Japan, it is still in existence today, and is a long-established British furniture manufacturer with a long history.
