1920年創業、イギリスの老舗家具メーカー ERCOL(アーコール)社による、Quaker chair(クエーカーチェア) です。
伝統的なウィンザーボウバックチェアをリデザインしたシャープな背面のシルエットが印象的なクエーカーチェア。曲げ木加工による美しい一本の曲線が形作る独特のフォルム。背もたれが高く、ゆったりと寛げる座り心地のよい設計で、アーコールの中でもロングセラーのデザインです。復刻品とヴィンテージ品で背もたれのスポークや材質が異なり、ヴィンテージ品は“スポーク5本でエルム材xブナ材”、現行仕様の一つ前一時期のみ“背もたれ6本仕様エルム材xブナ材“のヴィンテージと現行の中庸に当たるモデルが製造されていました。
