This is a vintage side cabinet with custom iron legs designed by Poul Cadovius, one of Denmark's most representative designers, and manufactured by Cado.
This piece has been customized with iron legs called hairpin legs, giving it a more modern, industrial feel while still retaining the atmosphere of the time.
The distinctive carved handle is an iconic design that is also used in Paul Cadvius' masterpiece, the wall unit ROYAL SYSTEM. The warm brown wood grain of the teak wood, a rare and luxurious material, is also impressive. It is a vintage piece from the golden age of Scandinavian furniture that is both practical and beautiful, and reflects the maker's attention to detail.

CADO is a furniture manufacturer founded by designer Paul Cadvius. In 1966, it took over the business of France & Son and later renamed itself France & France, but the company is now closed. At its peak, famous designers such as Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen, Finn Juhl, Grete Jalk, and Ole Wanscher produced works for the company. It is an interior brand that has collaborated with world-famous Danish furniture designers to produce a wide range of high-quality furniture, spreading wonderful Danish design around the world.

- Poul Cadovius (1911-2011)
He is one of the most successful designers in the Danish furniture industry. In 1945, he founded the furniture company Royal System by Poul Cadovius. In 1948, he introduced the flexible shelving system ROYAL SYSTEM, in 1957 the award-winning SYSTEM ULTRA, and in 1960 SYSTEM CADO. They revolutionized traditional shelving systems by adhering to space-saving and modular concepts. Over the course of his career, he obtained more than 400 design patents. His minimalist designs have been an important inspiration for generations of Danish furniture designers.
