This cup and saucer is a reproduction of a product made in the 1970s for export to Northern Europe.
Each piece is hand-carved with a relief called an "Inka" (printed pattern), and a thick layer of glaze is applied to the relief, making that area darker in color and creating a distinctive color contrast.
Because these are handmade, the relief and color of each piece will vary, but this unevenness gives them a vintage-like look.
- made in Japan
- Please note that because these are handmade products, there may be individual differences in the pattern, color, and crazing.
- FLOWER STAMP CUP&SAUCER / BROWM Only one item is available.
A pottery brand from Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, that produces creative products by examining pottery born from local techniques and history from various perspectives (=ANGLES) with the concept of "creating products from a new perspective by changing their shape to fit into everyday life."
Although it is a Japanese item, it also looks like something from overseas. The pottery is characterized by its appearance, which resembles tableware from overseas, but has a Japanese feel to it.
We develop products that suit modern lifestyles and interiors so that Japanese-made products can be enjoyed for longer and more deeply.
