落ちた花びらや葉を受け止めるプレートのついた花瓶、hanauke フラワーベースです。

白磁とひのき、異素材組み合わせからなる心地良い違和感の佇まいは、花を生けていなくても絵になり、日常の空間にアクセントを与えてくれます。

受け皿となるプレートは花を生けるだけでなく、鍵やアクセサリーなどの小物置きとして、人を迎える玄関・集うダイニング・くつろぐリビングなど置くシーンによって、使い方にバリエーションが生まれます。簡単に取り外せるので、水換えやお手入れがしやすくなっています。

きゅっと口が細くなったベースの形状は、一輪の花や枝ものを生けるのも簡単。
ひと枝挿すだけで印象がまとまるので、日ごろ花を生けることに慣れていない人にも、飾ることが愉しくなるようにと想いを込め、口の細さと内側の角度にこだわっています。

ひのきの受け皿は神奈川県小田原市で、寄木細工などの伝統の木工芸技術で知られるように、繊細な仕事を得意とする職人が丁寧に仕上げています。
ベース本体は岐阜県土岐市で、現在では手掛ける窯元が少ない「がば鋳込み」という成形方法を用いて、薄く焼き上げた美濃焼。ダイニングテーブルや玄関など置く場所を気軽に変えることを想定して、軽量でそっと飾りたくなるサイズ感を目指しました。
