英国ミッドセンチュリーを代表するブランド G-PLAN(ジープラン)による、Brandon(ブランドン)シリーズ、ライティングデスク付き コーナーキャビネット 3点セットです。
G-PLAN社が手がけた希少なBrandonコレクションより、希少なコーナー収納3点セット。通常オーク材で製作されるこのシリーズにおいて、トーラ材を用いた特別仕様という点でも注目に値する逸品です。ガラス棚板付きの本棚は収納容量に優れ、小ぶりなオープン棚は飾り棚として活躍。そしてコーナーキャビネットは引き出し前板が展開してワークスペースへと姿を変える工夫が施されています。美しい佇まい、実用的な機能、そして市場での希少価値という三つの魅力を兼ね備えた、特別なセットです。
希少な初期シリーズ1953年発表の「Brandon(ブランドン)」シリーズの亜種とも言える珍しいお品です。材質は通常のオーク材ではなくトーラ材を使用。また角ばった取っ手が特徴のブランドンとは違い、丸みを帯びた取っ手が採用されています。落ち着いた英国の気品を持ちながらも、どことなく漂う日本的なレトロモダンの雰囲気が目を惹きます。
