ミッドセンチュリー期に製造された、英国ヴィンテージ スツール オットマンです。

シンプルながらも洗練されたデザインが印象的なスツール。ドレッシングデスクとの組み合わせや補助椅子、オットマンなど、多目的に使いやすいお品です。

戦後の英国では、北欧モダンデザインの波が家具産業に革命をもたらしました。長年にわたって磨かれてきた職人技と製造インフラが、この新潮流と見事に融合し、独自の美しさを持つ作品群を世に送り出しました。G-PLAN（ジー・プラン）はデンマークの美学をいち早く咀嚼し、スコットランドのA.H.McIntosh（A.H.マッキントッシュ）やNathan（ネイサン）もそれぞれの個性で時代を彩りました。名の知れたメーカー以外にも、才能ある作り手たちが各地で腕を競っていました。この時代に英国で花開いた家具たちは、スカンジナビア発祥のデザイン哲学を独自に昇華させた存在として、現代のコレクターや愛好家から熱い視線を集め続けています。
